Example run

The artifact is the proof.

Tested 2026-07-12 · Claude (Fable 5)

Scenario: A sales call: a $1,500 dispatch-automation pilot pitched to a 14-tech, two-location HVAC company that logged 9 missed appointments last month and abandoned Jobber in 2023.

Sample artifact

From the example run
DECISION NEEDED: Tom says yes, no, or a dated not-yet to the $1,500 four-week pilot — on this call, not after it. QUESTION (scored 5): 'Jobber died in the truck cabs in 2023 — was that the techs' phones, the setup, or nobody owning it day to day?' CUT (scored 3): 'What happens if you do nothing this year?' — floating; the nine-missed-appointments question already carries the cost. RISK — unresolved past issue, raise it first: 'You told me Jobber died with the techs. The pilot is built around that — nothing changes for them in week one.' GO FIND BEFORE THE CALL: average ticket value; one recent fact on Kayla; which location the 9 missed jobs clustered in.

Before

An intake form, a 'what does this cost' email from the owner, and no plan for the Jobber objection everyone knew was coming.

After

A one-page brief: a yes/no/dated-not-yet decision line, five questions each carrying one of their own facts, the Jobber failure raised first with a planned sentence, two generic questions cut by the scoring rubric, and the follow-up email drafted with brackets before the call started.

Run it like this

  1. 01Fill the five inputs, then run the attendee scan — one recent fact per attendee, or five minutes on their LinkedIn first
  2. 02Name the decision in yes/no shape; if you can't, downgrade the meeting to an email
  3. 03Paste the prep prompt with your meeting-type playbook and the full question bank
  4. 04Keep only questions that score 5 on the grounding rubric — rewrite the 3s once, then cut
  5. 05Send the bracketed follow-up email within the hour of hanging up
